Our most popular camps, these energetic weeks are an ideal opportunity for your children to get outdoors this summer and try something new. The weekly Watersports Camps introduces campers to three watersports activities: Sailing, Stand up paddle boarding (SUP) and Kayaking. No sailing or paddling experience is necessary. The camps are great choices for complete beginners to watersports who would like to try out a variety of activities in a safe and supportive environment. This camp also a great choice for children who have already had an introduction to watersports and want to practice their skills, and have a week of water fun.
We expect by the end of the week that all our campers will have learned basic sailing and paddling skills. All of our activities - sailing, kayaking, raft building, paddle-boarding - give children the opportunity to be the master of their own vessels. Whether it is one, two, or three campers to a piece of equipment - they are given the responsibility of steering and managing the vessel themselves. This all takes place in our safe and controlled 'No Wake Zone' of Chatfield lake, with one of our highly qualified and experienced instructors close by. This freedom will encourage them to develop a significant sense of self reliance and confidence. Teamwork is a must on the water, and the campers will form life long friendships. Our campers always go home exhausted and satisfied, and we guarantee all you will hear about for a week is how much they learned and how much fun they had!
Length: 9:00am - 4:00pm, Monday through Friday. Drop off is between 8:30am and 9:00m and Pick up is betwen 3:30PM and 4:00PM
Instructor Certifications: American Sailing Association (ASA), American Canoe Association (ACA), Lifesaving, CPR and First Aid. Our instructors are all background checked.

What to bring: Campers should arrive wearing a swimsuit. Each day they should bring sunscreen, a towel, long sleeved rash guard (long sleeved shirt that can get wet for sun protection), sunglasses (with a strap), cap or wide brimmed hat, water bottle, morning and afternoon snacks, and lunch in a cool-box with cold packs.
What's included: Stand Up Paddle Boards, Topaz sailboats, Bic tandem kayaks, Paddles, personal flotation device (PFD), whistles, Qualified Instructor (Maximum student to instructor ratio = 8 to 1), shaded area for free time and lunch, unlimited cooled drinking water.
